About LAM:
Lymphangioleiomyomatosis, or LAM, is a progressive and frequently fatal lung disease that affects almost exclusively women, usually during their childbearing years. Approximately 1500 women have been diagnosed with LAM, but lead scientists estimate that there are more than 250,000 women worldwide that are unaware they have LAM. Women with LAM often go undiagnosed for years, and are frequently misdiagnosed with asthma, bronchitis, or emphysema.
About the musicians:
Hugo Duarte and Scott Kirby are well known by fans all over the world for their exceptional songwriting abilities. Both musicians tour throughout the United States and have recorded multiple CDs. Hugo and Scott met in Key West, Florida where they were both living and quickly became friends. Although the friendship has lasted over the years, it is an extremely rare event for both musicians to be performing in the same show.

Like last year, this show is being held in a floating boathouse with a platform extending out into the river on the east side of the Willamette River, just south of the Sellwood Bridge. It's at the north end of the Portland Rowing Club houseboat community. Driving directions: Heading east over the Sellwood Bridge, turn right (south) on SE 7th Avenue then turn right (west) onto SE Harney St. Continue on Harney to the end then head down the driveway to the parking lot above the houseboats. Park and walk down the ramp and turn right. The Clubhouse is on the north end of the moorage. Admission is $15.00 for members; $20.00 for non-members!

It's at the north end of the Portland Rowing Club houseboat community. Driving directions: Heading east over the Sellwood Bridge, turn right (south) on SE 7th Avenue then turn right (west) onto SE Harney St. Continue on Harney to the end then head down the driveway to the parking lot above the houseboats. Park and walk down the ramp and turn right. The Clubhouse is on the north end of the moorage.
