Hi Everyone, Just got off the phone with the folks at the Hog's Breath. I know that there has been some general speculation on the changes there. We're all set to perform for all of you that week. SO... It's MOTM time again, and the band and I will be at the Hog's Breath for a full week starting on October 27th. Escape those cool climes and spend some time with us from the 27th of October through the 2nd of November! "Fingers" Taylor will be joining us again this year! We may also have some "special surprise Guest Artists", but that's a secret for now. See you there! Invitations for the "Fan Appreciation Party" will be going out soon!

The donations for this evening of music will benefit The LAM Foundation and is sponsored by the NC State Women's Center.

About LAM:
Lymphangioleiomyomatosis, or LAM, is a progressive and frequently fatal lung disease that affects almost exclusively women, usually during their childbearing years. Approximately 1500 women have been diagnosed with LAM, but lead scientists estimate that there are more than 250,000 women worldwide that are unaware they have LAM. Women with LAM often go undiagnosed for years, and are frequently misdiagnosed with asthma, bronchitis, or emphysema.
About the musicians:
Hugo Duarte and Scott Kirby are well known by fans all over the world for their exceptional songwriting abilities. Both musicians tour throughout the United States and have recorded multiple CDs. Hugo and Scott met in Key West, Florida where they were both living and quickly became friends. Although the friendship has lasted over the years, it is an extremely rare event for both musicians to be performing in the same show.

Thanks to the Portland Rowing Club for hosting this event for the second year! Like last year, this show is being held in a floating boathouse with a platform extending out into the river on the east side of the Willamette River, just south of the Sellwood Bridge. It's at the north end of the Portland Rowing Club houseboat community. Driving directions: Heading east over the Sellwood Bridge, turn right (south) on SE 7th Avenue then turn right (west) onto SE Harney St. Continue on Harney to the end then head down the driveway to the parking lot above the houseboats. Park and walk down the ramp and turn right. The Clubhouse is on the north end of the moorage. Admission is $15.00 for members; $20.00 for non-members!

A Celebration of the Life of a Friend

Jeff passed away very recently after an incredibly brave fight with a virulent cancer. I will be honored to help his family and friends celebrate the life of my friend.

I'll be doing this show with my friends Greg "Fingers" Taylor and Emily Hutchison This show is being held in a floating boathouse with a platform extending out into the river on the east side of the Willamette River, just south of the Sellwood Bridge. It's at the north end of the Portland Rowing Club houseboat community. Driving directions: Heading east over the Sellwood Bridge, turn right (south) on SE 7th Avenue then turn right (west) onto SE Harney St. Continue on Harney to the end then head down the driveway to the parking lot above the houseboats. Park and walk down the ramp and turn right. The Clubhouse is on the north end of the moorage.

Hi everyone - if ya'll are planning on joining us at Wilson's this coming Saturday night, October 14th, Wilson's has asked that we change our hours because of the chilly weather expected for Saturday night. They've asked us to play INSIDE in the "sports bar" so we, and everyone else, won't freeze to death in the expected 42 degree weather. To accomodate that change, and the fact that the baseball playoff games will be going on (that should be the night the DETROIT TIGERS clinch the AL title), we won't be starting until 10:00 pm!
